Logan Lerman
He has to be my favourite person ever. I don't even know why I love him so much. But just the fact that he was so awesome at such an early age and keeps getting better is just so fantastic. It's exciting to see someone grow from the 'just the son or the younger version' kid to 'the one who stole the film'. I can't wait to see more of his work and to watch him become a full-grown movie star. Because I just know he will succeed in what he does, and that feels great.
...Enough fangirlness. Let's focus on the picspam.
The Patriot
as William Martin, Mel Gibson's son.
This is his first movie. He would later work with Mel Gibson in 'What Women Want', and with Skye McCole Bartusiak (the girl in the first pic) in 'Riding In Cars With Boys'.
What Women Want
as Young Nick Marshall.
"The best thing about this is being able to learn from, and act with, your heroes"
Riding In Cars With Boys (my favourite movie)
as Jason at age 8.
The best quote from this film has to be when he says to his mother (Drew Barrymore's character) "You're supposed to be the mum, and I'm supposed to be the kid!". He's so cute when he says that and it just makes me fall in love xD OKAY, ENOUGH.
"I tend to get into what I'm working on, and it's hard to break from your character and have to do... math, or something" - On studying while filming.
A Painted House
as Luke Chadler.
The Butterfly Effect
as Evan Treborn at age 7.
In this movie, he had to wear brown eye contacts because he was playing a character in one of the three stages of his life. The rest of the cast who played Evan (Ashton Kutcher and John Patrick Amedori) all had brown eyes (though, being a John fan myself, I insist: his eyes are dark green ¬¬), so Logan's blue eyes were not welcome xD. Also, in this movie... he freaks me out.
Jack & Bobby
as Bobby McAllister.
Brilliant performance. Just brilliant. I remember seeing an ad for this show before it was on and TOTALLY FREAKING OUT over the fact that he was there. It was hard to recognize him but I just knew it was him and I was so excited it was scary. Then... the show was canceled. U_U
Hoot
as Roy Eberhardt.
The Number 23
as Robin Sparrow.
"It was definetly the highlight of my life to be able to work with him and I learnt the most of him" - On working with Jim Carrey.
3:10 To Yuma
as William Evans.
"He trashed me so hard" - it was constructive, and the critique inspired the aspiring filmmaker to 'get serious' "I learned a lot from the guy" - On Russell Crowe's reaction to his YouTube short films.
"Just for anybody to think that I remotely look like Christian Bale... that's awesome" - On being cast to play Christian Bale's son in 3:10 To Yuma.
"Lerman, who shows great strength and ability as an actor in this film, is a young actor whose career is going to be very interesting to watch. There are, no doubt, great things in store for this gifted young man" - Pamela Scott Shelton from American Chronicle, on Logan's performance in 3:10 To Yuma.
Meet Bill
as The Kid. (Yes. Just the kid.)
“Jessica? Will you go to the prom with me, please?” - To Jessica Alba, his co-star in Meet Bill.
Various Pictures
"I'm not the kind of guy who got into this to be famous"
I love him, okay? Okay.
^___^
